The typography foundations for building digital interfaces at Simpson Strong-tie. The typeface we use is inspired by our brand and optimized for digital interfaces. Helvetica Now was selected because of its close visual relationship to the font that is used in the black bar of our logo. This font suggests many of the same attributes — strength, stability, integrity — as our logotype and is highly optimized for digital.

Helvetica Now comes in three optical sizes. We recommend using Display for text 18px or over, and Text for text under 18px.

The primary weight for Helvetica Now to be used with interface design is Regular. Medium weight is can be used to help visually with hierarchy.
